Vocational Training – Kaushal Bodh & Kaushal Vikas
As part of the CBSE Skill Education framework and NEP 2020, AVM Rajeswari – The School offers vocational learning programmes that combine academics with practical, hands-on experiences. The programme helps students develop creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, problem-solving, and career awareness through activity-based learning.
Kaushal Bodh (Std. 6 – Std. 8)
Introduces broad-based vocational learning through projects across three work forms: Life Forms, Machines & Materials, and Human Services. Students develop practical skills, attitudes and values, along with ecological and gender sensitivity, digital skills, and life skills.
Kaushal Vikas (Std. 9)
Builds on Kaushal Bodh through more structured, in-depth vocational projects and specialised pathways, developing competencies that can be applied across different work contexts and strengthening practical skills and career readiness.
Areas of Learning under Kaushal Bodh and Vikas include (but not limited to)- Biodiversity Register, Agricultural Practices, Home Automation, Creating Advertisements, Tie and Dye and Story Time Puppets.
